Our next litter of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies is expected on October 20, 2026, at our home in Boring, Oregon. The waitlist is open now. Puppies go to approved families in waitlist order, and we place a limited number of litters each year.

The pairing. This litter is from our chocolate dam Latte and our tri-color sire Jessie James. Jessie James has OFA results for heart, eyes and patellas; he has not had a hip evaluation, and we say so rather than imply one. You can meet both parents on the Our Boys and Our Girls pages.

How the waitlist works. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and does not commit you to a puppy. When the litter arrives we contact families in the order they joined, and you choose whether this is the right litter for you. If it is not, you keep your place for the next one. A $500 deposit reserves a specific puppy once the litter is here and families have made their selections. It comes off the purchase price in full, and if this litter turns out not to be the right fit for your family, it transfers to a later one.

What a puppy costs. Puppies are $3,500 to $7,000 depending on color, markings and the pairing. Getting your puppy home: most families come to us, and we would always rather meet you in person. Pick-up at our home near Boring, Oregon is free, and we are about thirty minutes from Portland. Ground delivery beyond half an hour from us is $1.00 per mile, round trip; meeting at Portland International (PDX) is $100; a flight nanny, with your puppy in the cabin with an escort, is $600 plus the airline’s fare and fees. If your puppy is ready before you are, the first three days are on us; after that, boarding with us is $35 a day.

When can puppies go home? Puppies go home no earlier than eight weeks. For a litter expected October 20, that means mid-December 2026 at the earliest. We will confirm exact dates once the puppies are here and have had their first veterinary check.

Will a puppy be home in time for the holidays? A litter expected October 20 is ready for approved families in mid-December, which places homecoming in the quietest, most-at-home stretch of the year. We do not place puppies as surprise gifts. Every family applies, talks with us first, and knows a puppy is coming. A Cavalier is a twelve-to-fourteen-year commitment. What we can offer is timing, and this litter lands in a good one.

How do I reserve?

Can we visit, and do you deliver?

Yes to both. Visiting in person is the ideal way to meet your puppy, by appointment. Meeting in person is free within about 30 minutes of Boring; longer distances and ground delivery are arranged for a fee.

What every puppy comes home with. A veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, a microchip with lifetime registration, complete health records, a written health guarantee, and lifetime support from us, raised underfoot in our Boring, Oregon home. Puppies are placed on AKC limited registration.

How we keep in touch. We answer every waitlist enquiry and every question within one business day. While you are waiting for a litter we send a note each month so you always know where things stand. Once the puppies are here you get photos and a short video every week until go-home day, and after your puppy is home we check in at four weeks and stay available for the life of your dog.

The Nextgen Jumpstart. For one family per litter, we keep raising your puppy in our home for four, eight, twelve or sixteen more weeks: crate, sleeping through the night, a potty routine, calm handling, and a first introduction to the leash. Video twice a week, a written report card every week, and a full handoff on go-home day. The place goes to the first family to reserve it. How to Reserve a Puppy

We’re thrilled to help you begin the journey toward welcoming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel into your family. Our puppies range from $3,500–$7,000, depending on color, markings, and overall pairing.

Our pricing reflects the exceptional quality and rarity of our Cavaliers. Chocolate Cavaliers are naturally uncommon, and producing them responsibly requires careful genetic pairing and long‑term planning. Every one of our dogs is purebred and fully health‑tested, and our breeding program is intentionally designed to strengthen the breed—not simply produce puppies.

We invest in healthier genetics, OFA and DNA testing, therapy‑grade temperaments, and a hands‑on, research‑based raising process. This level of care ensures that each puppy is not only beautiful and rare, but also bred for sound health, emotional stability, and lifelong companionship.

Once you submit your reservation request, we’ll notify you as soon as the litter is born. At that point, you can decide whether you’d like to place a deposit to secure your puppy.

To officially hold your spot, we require:

• A $500 deposit, applied in full to the purchase price
• A completed puppy application

Your deposit guarantees your reserved puppy. If a puppy has already been claimed but you’d like to be next in line, you’re welcome to make a backup reservation. Backup deposits automatically roll over to the next available litter if the current puppy does not become available.

How Can I get my new Puppy?

While visiting in person is always the ideal way to meet your puppy and complete the adoption, we understand that travel and scheduling don’t always make that possible. To ensure every family can welcome their new puppy with ease, we offer several safe and convenient pickup and delivery options.

1. In‑Person Meeting (Local Pickup)

We’re happy to arrange an in‑person meeting at a mutually convenient location.

• Free within 30 minutes of our home in Boring, Oregon
• For longer distances, we’ll discuss transportation fees and coordinate a comfortable meeting point

This is a great option for families in Portland, Gresham, Clackamas, Happy Valley, Sandy, and the surrounding areas.

2. Ground Delivery Service

For families who prefer direct delivery, we offer a reliable ground transport option.

• A 50% non‑refundable payment is required to schedule delivery
• Delivery fees typically range from $100 to $700, depending on distance

We’ll work with you to choose a delivery date that fits your schedule and ensures your puppy arrives safely and stress‑free.

3. Air Transport (PDX Pickup)

When distance makes travel difficult, air transport can be a safe and effective solution.

• The adoptive family covers all airline‑related expenses
• We personally transport your puppy to Portland International Airport (PDX) at the exact time and airline you specify
• No additional fees from Green Acres Nextgen for this service

We generally recommend puppies fly at 10 weeks or older, but we’ll discuss all details during planning to ensure the safest experience.
